Thank you for your interest in applying to the Navajo Department of Workforce Development (NDWD). NDWD is a federally funded program and requires eligibility determination.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrolled member of a U.S. Federally recognized Indian Tribe, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian. (Have a Certificate of Indian Blood)
- Reside within NDWD Service Delivery Area
- Must be 14 years of age or older.
- Meet at least one (1) of the following:
- Recipient of a layoff notice
- Unemployed
- Recipient of Public Assistance
- Dislocated Worker
- Underemployed
- Low-Income Individual
- Male applicants 18 years of age and older must be registered with the Selective Service System.
