Gain work experience for the summer

Open to students ages 14-24 (at time of application), living on or near the Navajo Nation

As of June 5, 2026, the Navajo Department of Workforce Development (NDWD) have met the projected enrollment number for the Summer Enrichment Activity Work Experience and are no longer accepting applications for summer employment; you are welcome to reapply next year for the Summer Enrichment Activity.

  • June 1, 2026

  • June 15, 2026

  • June 29, 2026

  • July 13, 2026

  1. When can I apply? Now until 6/5/2026
  2. Do I have to be in-person to apply? No, the Application is available online and you can communicate with the team over the phone or through Microsoft Teams. 
  3. Can I work  part-time? Part-time hours are allowable but are subject to approval of selected worksite. 

Application Information:

Applicants between the ages of 14-17 will need a parent/guardian signature on the application. Please refer to Step 3 in the Application for Services Instructions.
