As of June 5, 2026, the Navajo Department of Workforce Development (NDWD) have met the projected enrollment number for the Summer Enrichment Activity Work Experience and are no longer accepting applications for summer employment; you are welcome to reapply next year for the Summer Enrichment Activity. 

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Enrolled member of a U.S. Federally recognized Indian Tribe, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian. (Have a Certificate of Indian Blood)
  2. Reside within NDWD Service Delivery Area
  3. Must be 14 years of age or older. 
  4. Meet at least one (1) of the following:
    • Recipient of a layoff notice
    • Unemployed
    • Recipient of Public Assistance
    • Dislocated Worker
    • Underemployed
    • Low-Income Individual
  5. Male applicants 18 years of age and older must be registered with the Selective Service System.
