Financial Assistance Information:

NDWD has cost limitations and will not pay for all (100%) of an adult or youth financial needs.  The participant will have to seek for other financial aid, such as Pell grant, student loans, parental help, other institutional grants, etc. to help cover the full cost of their employment and training programs.

Supportive Service:

Supportive Services payments are provided to eligible participants based on need.  Supportive Service may include the following:  meals, housing/utilities, transportation, childcare, training supplies, eye glasses, and drug testing.  NDWD provides a uniform policy and payment procedures on the limitation for allowable support service costs.

Q & A:

 What do I need to bring to the Workforce Center?
  • Social Security Card
  • Family or Public Assistance income documents
  • Selective Service Registration Card (Males 18-26)
  • Verification of Residence
  • Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) or Family Profile
  • Income for the Past (6) Six months, i.e. check stubs
  • High School/GED Diploma
  • Lay-off Notice
  • Verification for Other family members in household i.e. CIB, Birth Certificate, Public assistance letter, if family members listed or Family Profile.
